From Darren's earliest age the process of designing and developing an initial idea on paper into a finished project has excited and inspired him to build a successful career within the creative industries.
Having spent a number of years within the bespoke furniture industry, he built up a respected business employing a number of people. During this time he also lectured at local colleges in the history of furniture and wood machining and furniture making. He has continued to advance his skills and knowledge, successfully establishing himself in Feature Films, Television and Theatre.
Working as a draughtsman and assistant art director he has helped design sets and props for a number of feature films, built sets and props for national and West End theatre productions and has worked on a number of other promotional and exhibition projects.
In recent years he has built up a successful business working as a freelance designer undertaking a wide range of design projects including interior design, house renovation, house plans, design work for logos, play areas and recently returned to making and designing high spec bespoke furniture.

Darren continues to use his skills in various design fields coordinating between directors, producers, clients, suppliers, and craftsmen solving design issues and offering creative solutions.
Using traditional drawing board skills and programmes like Vectorworks and SketchUp Darren is able to deliver 3D visuals to demonstrate how completed projects will look.
Darren has bases just outside of Norwich and close to the film studios at Pinewood and Shepperton but is also happy to work in other regions.
